Description
Canine antiparasitic indicated for the treatment and control of parasitic infestations produced by: Nematodes (adults and larvae): Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis and Dirofilaria immitis (microfilaria immitis). Cestodes (eggs, larvae and adults): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia taeniformis, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus multilocularis and Echinococcus granulosus.
Guaranteed Composition:
Each mL of oral suspension contains:
- Febantel 150 mg
- Pyrantel Pamoate
(Equivalent to 50 mg of Pyrantel base) 145 mg - Praziquantel 50 mg
- Ivermectin 100 µg
- Excipients q.s. 1 mL
Species for which it is recommended:
Dogs.
Administration route:
Oral route exclusively.
Dosage:
The dose required for each kg of live weight, contained in 0.2 mL of THECAN is:
Pyntel base: 10 mg | Febantel: 30 mg |
Praziquantel: 10 mg | Ivermectin: 0,020 mg |
In practice, supply 1 mL for every 5 kg of live weight.
Precautions:
- Store in a cool, dry place protected from light.
- Consult the Veterinarian.
- Give orally only.
- Shake well before using.
- It should not be given to animals less than 6 weeks old, nor to those severely weakened.
- It is recommended to administer with caution, to breeds susceptible of presenting some type of adverse reaction to Ivermectins such as Collie Shepherd, English
- Sheepdog, Brazilian Row, Siberian Husky, Shetland and their crosses.
