Canine antiparasitic indicated for the treatment and control of parasitic infestations produced by: Nematodes (adults and larvae): Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis and Dirofilaria immitis<\/em> (microfilaria immitis). Cestodes (eggs, larvae and adults): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia taeniformis, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus multilocularis<\/em> and Echinococcus granulosus.<\/em><\/p>\n

Each mL of oral suspension contains:<\/p>\n

  • Febantel 150 mg<\/li>\n
  • Pyrantel Pamoate
    \n(Equivalent to 50 mg of Pyrantel base) 145 mg<\/li>\n
  • Praziquantel 50 mg<\/li>\n
  • Ivermectin 100 \u00b5g<\/li>\n
  • Excipients q.s. 1 mL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The dose required for each kg of live weight, contained in 0.2 mL of THECAN is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
    Pyntel base: 10 mg<\/td>\nFebantel: 30 mg<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Praziquantel: 10 mg<\/td>\nIvermectin: 0,020 mg<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    In practice, supply 1 mL for every 5 kg of live weight.<\/p>\n

    Precautions:<\/strong><\/h5>\n
      \n
    • Store in a cool, dry place protected from light.<\/li>\n
    • Consult the Veterinarian.<\/li>\n
    • Give orally only.<\/li>\n
    • Shake well before using.<\/li>\n
    • It should not be given to animals less than 6 weeks old, nor to those severely weakened.<\/li>\n
    • It is recommended to administer with caution, to breeds susceptible of presenting some type of adverse reaction to Ivermectins such as Collie Shepherd, English<\/li>\n
    • Sheepdog, Brazilian Row, Siberian Husky, Shetland and their crosses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
