{"id":649,"date":"2021-04-01T15:50:13","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T15:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/figa.com.co\/v2\/?post_type=product&#038;p=649"},"modified":"2023-12-30T16:39:46","modified_gmt":"2023-12-30T16:39:46","slug":"fifenicol","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/figa.com.co\/en\/product\/fifenicol\/","title":{"rendered":"FIFENICOL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Injectable solution containing (Florfenicol), which is a synthetic spectrum antibiotic and active against gram positive and gram negative bacteria.<br \/>\nThe (Florfenicol) acts by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial protein, at the level of the ribosomes.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Indications:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>In <strong>bovines<\/strong> for the treatment of:\n<ul>\n<li>Bovine respiratory complex caused by: <em>Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia (Pasteurella haemolytica), Haemophilus somnus.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Metritis:<em> Corynebacterium pyogenes.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Infectious gastroenteritis caused by: <em>Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Infectious poweritis caused by: <em>Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides melaninogenicus.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>porcines<\/strong> for the treatment of:\n<ul>\n<li>Pneumonia, Pleuropneumonia and Rinits caused by: <em>Mycoplasma sp, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Infectious gastroenteritis caused by: <em>Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Guaranteed composition:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Each mL of solution for injection contains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Florfenicol 300 mg<\/li>\n<li>Excipients q.s. 1 mL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Administration route:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Intramuscular route.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Dosage:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bovines:<\/strong> administer 20 mg of Florfenicol per kg of body weight, in practice apply 1 mL of FIFENICOL for every 15 kg, repeat the dose after 48 hours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Porcines:<\/strong> administer 15 mg of Florfenicol per kg of body weight, in practice apply 1 mL of FIFENICOL for every 20 kg, repeat the dose after 48 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Withdrawal time:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Treated animals should not be sacrificed for human consumption until 36 days after the end of treatment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Do not administer in cows whose milk is intended for human consumption.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Cautions:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Hypersensitivity to the components of the product.<\/li>\n<li>Do not apply more than 20 mL to cattle and no more than 3 mL to pigs per injection site.<\/li>\n<li>Keep below 30 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Presentations: <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Bottle of 50, 100 and 250 mL.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>ICA Reg.
