Indicated for the control of internal and external parasites (gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes; nuches, lice, myiasis and scabies mites). It helps in the control of the Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus<\/em>\u00a0and the palette knife.<\/p>\n

    Administration route:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

    • Bovines and ovines:<\/strong> Intramuscular or subcutaneous route.<\/li>\n
    • Porcines:<\/strong> Intramuscular route in the neck region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Dosage:<\/strong><\/h5>\n
        \n
      • In bovines<\/strong> and ovines<\/strong>: 1 mL \/ 50 kg (equivalent to 200 \u00b5g \/ kg), subcutaneously. For the treatment of scabies caused by Psoroptes ovis<\/em> in sheep: 1 mL \/ 33 kg, via SC.<\/li>\n
      • In Porcines<\/strong>: 1 mL \/ 33 kg (equivalent to 300 \u00b5g \/ kg), via IM in the neck region.
        \nIt is not recommended to apply more than 10 mL of FIGAMAX 1% in the same place, for larger doses divide it and apply it in two different points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Withdrawal time:<\/strong><\/h5>\n
          \n
        • Treated animals should not be sacrificed for human consumption until 50 days after the end of treatment.<\/strong><\/li>\n
        • Do not administer to cows or sheep producing milk for human consumption or industrialization or 60 days before calving.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          Persistence:<\/strong><\/h5>\n

          FIGAMAX 1% allows protection against parasitic reinfestations during the following periods depending on the type of parasite:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Internal parasites: Cooperia oncophora<\/em> for 42 days; Ostertagia ostertagi<\/em> for 49 days; Haemonchus placei<\/em> for 42 days; Oesophagostomum radiatum<\/em> for 40 days; Dictyocaulus viviparus<\/em> for 53 days.<\/li>\n
          • External parasites: Dermatobia hominis<\/em> (nuche) for 140 days; Cochliomyia hominivorax<\/em> (myiasis) for 42 days; Psoroptes communis<\/em> for 42 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            Cautions:<\/strong><\/h5>\n
              \n
            • Do not apply intravenously, only intramuscularly or subcutaneously.<\/li>\n
            • Do not administer to cows or sheep in dairy production for human consumption or industrialization.<\/li>\n
            • Do not administer in animals in poor general condition, feverish states, or in situations of intense stress.<\/li>\n
            • Do not mix in the same syringe or container with any other substance different from the product.<\/li>\n
            • Do not reuse the containers, these or any residue should not be dumped in sources of water for human or animal consumption, they must be disposed of properly. It should be noted that doramectin in free form affects fish and other aquatic organisms.<\/li>\n
            • Keep below 30\u00b0C and away from direct sunlight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
