{"id":623,"date":"2021-03-31T22:57:40","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T22:57:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/figa.com.co\/v2\/?post_type=product&#038;p=623"},"modified":"2025-09-19T03:49:56","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T03:49:56","slug":"ganadectyn","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/figa.com.co\/en\/product\/ganadectyn\/","title":{"rendered":"GANADECTYN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indicated for the treatment and control with prolonged ACTION of internal (gastrointestinal nematodes, lung parasites) and external parasites, such as lice, scabies mites, horn fly, <em>Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus<\/em> tick; with minimal detrimental effect on the dung beetle.<\/p>\n<p>Effective in the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in cattle:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Internal parasites:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gastrointestinal parasites:<\/strong> <em>Ostertagia ostertagi, Ostertagia lyrata, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pulmonary nematodes:<\/strong> <em>Dictyocaulus viviparus.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>External parasites:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scabies:<\/strong> <em>Psoroptes ovis.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Lice:<\/strong><em> Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus, Bovicola (Damalinia) bovis.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ticks:<\/strong> <em>Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Horn fly:<\/strong> <em>Haematobia irritans.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Guaranteed composition:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Each mL of solution for injection contains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moxidectin 10 mg<\/li>\n<li>Excipients q.s. 1 mL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Species for which it is recommended:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Bovines and ovines.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Administration route:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Administer subcutaneously.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Dosage:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Administer 0,2 mg of Moxidectin per kilogram of body weight. In practice, apply 1 mL of GANADECTYN for every 50 kg of live weight.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Withdrawal time:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Treated animals should not be sacrificed for human consumption until 35 days after the end of treatment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The product should not be used in animals whose milk is intended for human consump<\/strong>tion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Contraindications:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not administer to young suckling calves affected by malnutrition and \/ or infectious diseases.<\/li>\n<li>In animals weakened or affected by infectious diseases, provide treatment prior to the administration of GANADECTYN.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Cautions:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not apply more than 10 mL per application site.<\/li>\n<li>Do not manage any other product on the same application site.<\/li>\n<li>Do not contaminate tanks or water streams with the product or empty containers because it is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms.<\/li>\n<li>Containers and waste must be disposed of in accordance with current legal provisions.<\/li>\n<li>Keep at a temperature below 30\u00b0C, protected from sunlight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Presentations<\/strong>:<\/h5>\n<p>Bottle of 10, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 mL.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>ICA Reg.
