VITAMIN K+C

Adjuvant in the treatment and control of bleeding

Indicated in the treatment of hemorrhagic processes caused by de fi ciency or decreased levels of Vitamin K and in cases of intoxication by long-acting anticoagulant agents such as rodenticides. As an adjunct in the treatment of post-surgical hemorrhagic processes, in coccidiosis and other parasitic diseases, especially by hemoparasites. Useful in diseases with symptoms or bleeding syndromes such as hematuria.

Guaranteed composition:

Each mL of solution for injection contains:

  • Vitamin K3 (as bisulphite menadione sodium) 20 mg
  • Vitamin C 20 mg
  • Excipients c.s.p. 1 mL
Species for which it is recommended:

Bovines, equines, swines, ovines, caprines, dogs and cats.

Route of administration:

Administer intramuscularly, intravenously or subcutaneously.

Dosage:

Administer 1 mg of vitamin K per kg of body weight. In practice, administer in:

  • Bovines and equines: 20 mL / 400 kg
  • Calves and foals: 5 mL / 100 kg
  • Swines, ovines and caprines: 2 mL / 40 kg
  • Dogs and cats: 0,5 mL / 10 kg
Cautions:
  • Keep at a temperature no higher than 30 °C.
