Description
Indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and Mycoplasma bovis sensitive to Tulathromycin.
In swines for the treatment of swine respiratory disease (ERP) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica and Haemophilus parasuis.
Guaranteed composition:
Each mL of solution for injection contains:
- Tulathromycin 100 mg
- Excipients q.s. 1 mL
Species for which it is recommended:
Bovines and porcines.
Administration route:
- Bovines: Subcutaneous.
- Porcines: Intramuscular.
Dosage:
For any respiratory disease, it is recommended to treat animals in the early stages of the disease and to assess response to treatment within 48 hours after injection. If the manifestations of respiratory disease persist or increase, or if recurrence occurs, the treatment should be changed, using another antibiotic based on sensitivity tests and continued until the clinical manifestations have disappeared.
Contraindications:
- Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to macrolide antibiotics.
- Do not use the product simultaneously with other macrolides or lincosamides.
- Do not administer in lactating animals.
- Do not use in animals whose milk is intended for human consumption.
Withdrawal time:
- Treated cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 21 days after the end of treatment.
- The product should not be administered to cows producing milk intended for human consumption, nor in the last two months prior to calving.
- Treated porcines should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 7 days after the end of the treatment.
Cautions for the destination spice:
- Do not administer intravenously.
- Opening and immediate use.
- Do not administer two months before delivery.
- Subcutaneous administration frequently causes temporary pain and local inflammation at the injection site.
- The use of Tulathromycin should be based on sensitivity tests to bacteria isolated from the animal.
- Bovines: Do not apply a volume greater than 7.5 mL per injection site.
- Porcines: Do not apply a volume greater than 2 mL per injection site, the dose should be divided.
Cautions for those who handle the drug:
- Tulathromycin is irritating to the eyes. In case of accidental exposure wash immediately with water.
- It is recommended to wash your hands after use.
Storage conditions:
Keep at a temperature no higher than 30 °C. in a dry and cool place.

Bottle of 20, 50, 100, 250 and 500 mL and box of 15 bottles of 1 mL.
