OXIFIGA 50

Description

Broad spectrum antibiotic for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to tetracyclines such as: Anaplasma sp., Rickettsia sp., Streptococcus sp., E. coli, Pasteurella sp., Haemophilus sp., Leptospira sp., Shigella sp. , Campylobacter sp., Listeria sp.

Guaranteed composition:

Each mL of solution for injection contains:

• Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride 50 mg
• Excipients q.s. 1 mL

Species for which it is recommended:

Bovines, equines, porcines, ovines, caprines, dogs, cats and birds.

Administration route:

Deep intramuscular, subcutaneous and intravenous route.

Dosage:

• The recommended dose is 10 mL of Oxifiga 50 for every 100 kg of body weight (5 mg / kg).
• In anaplasmosis 10 mL of Oxifiga 50 for every 50 kg of weight (10 mg / kg).
• In small animals apply 2 mL of Oxifiga 50 for every 10 kg of weight (10 mg / kg).

Repeat the above doses every 12 to 24 hours for 4 to 5 consecutive days, at the discretion of the Veterinarian.

• Birds: 1 mL Oxifiga 50 per kg of live weight.

Cautions:

• Keep in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
• Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product.

Withdrawal time:

• Treated animals should not be sacrificed for human consumption until 21 days after the end of treatment.
• The milk produced during the treatment and 6 days after it has finished, should not be given for human consumption.
• Do not use in layers for the production of eggs intended for human consumption.

Presentation:

Bottle of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 250 and 500 mL.
