FIZEROL

Description

Hemoparasiticide and antianemic indicated in fattening steers and cull cows to improve feed efficiency and for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites.

1. Internal parasites: FIZEROL for the control and treatment of adults and larval stages of:

• Pulmonary Parasites: Dictyocaulus viviparus (in its adult, larval and inhibited forms).
• Gastrointestinal parasites: such as Ostertagia ostertagi, Cooperia sp., Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Trichostrongylus axei, Nematodirus sp., Trichuris ovis, Strongyloides papillosus, Toxocara vitulorum.

2. External parasites: FIZEROL is effective for the control and treatment of:

• Nuche: Dermatobia hominis.
• Sucking lice: Linognathus sp., Haematopinus sp. and Solenopotes sp.
• Scabies mites: Psoroptes communis var. bovis and ovis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis.
• Cochliomyia hominivorax larval myiasis.
• Helps in the control of the tick: Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus..

Guaranteed composition:

Each mL of injectable solution contains:

• Ivermectin 10 mg
• Zeranol 10 mg
• Excipients q.s. 1 mL

Species for which it is recommended:

Bovines.

Dosage and administration route:

Equivalent to 200 μg of ivermectin and 200 μg of zeranol per kg of body weight. In practice, 1 mL of FIZEROL for every 50 kg of live weight, administer subcutaneously only.

Withdrawal time:

• Treated cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 28 days after the end of treatment.
• Do not use in animals intended for reproduction.
• Do not use in cows whose milk is intended for human consumption.

Cautions:

• Do not apply FIZEROL intramuscularly or intravenously
• Avoid excessive manipulation of the animal when applying the product, this reduces the risk of respiratory infections due to the immunosuppression caused by the stress of prolonged driving.
• Do not use in animals less than 4 weeks of age.
• Store in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight.
