Description
Indicated for the treatment and control of subclinical and clinical mastitis, metritis and pneumonia caused by Corynebacterium sp. of infections caused by Streptococcus sp., Corynebacterium sp., Staphylococcus sp., Proteus sp., Klebsiella sp. and arthritis caused by Mycoplasma hyosinoviae.
In birds for the treatment of infections caused by Mycoplasma sp.
Guaranteed composition:
Each mL of solution for injection contains:
- Spiramycin 600,000 I.U.
- Excipients q.s. 1 mL
Species for which it is recommended:
Bovines, porcines, ovines, dogs and birds.
Administration route:
Intramuscular. In birds it can also be applied subcutaneously.
Dosage:
- Adult bovine: 30,000 IU per kilogram of live weight, in practice 1 mL of the solution for every 20 kg of weight, in severe cases repeat after 24 or 36 hours.
- Bovines, porcines, dogs and ovines: 75,000 IU per kilogram of live weight, in practice 1 mL of the solution for every 7 kg approximately. In severe cases repeat after 24 or 36 hours.
- Birds: 130,000 IU to 160,000 IU per kilogram of weight, equivalent to diluting 25 mL of Firamycin 600 in 100 mL of water (distilled) and applying 1 mL per kg of live weight. Repeat after 8 days.
20 mL flask: Dilute the entire product (20 mL) in 80 mL of water (distilled) and apply 1 mL per kg of live weight.
Withdrawal time:
- Treated animals should not be sacrificed for human consumption until 3 days after the end of the treatment.
- The milk produced during the treatment and up to 72 hours after the end of it, should not be used for human consumption.
- Do not administer to laying birds whose eggs are intended for human consumption.
Cautions:
- Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
- Keep at a temperature below 30 °C, protected from light.
