Description
Fasciolicide, tenicide, nematicide, indicated for the control and treatment of gastrointestinal, pulmonary and hepatic parasites, such as: Bunostomum sp., Cooperia sp., Chabertia ovina., Haemonchus sp., Nematodirus sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Trichostrongylus sp., Strongyloides sp., Moniezia sp., Dictyocaulus viviparus., Fasciola hepatica (dystoma).
Guaranteed composition:
Each mL of oral suspension contains:
- Micronized albendazole 250 mg
- Excipients q.s. 1 mL
Species for which it is recomended:
Bovines, ovines and caprines.
Administration route:
Oral or intraruminal route.
Dosage:
- For the control of gastrointestinal, pulmonary and tapeworm parasites (Moniezia sp.) 5 mg / kg of weight, in practice they are equivalent to 1mL of AFIGAL 25% for each 50 kg of body weight.
- For the control of Fasciola hepatica: 10mg / kg of body weight, in practice they are equivalent to 2mL of AFIGAL 25% for every 50 kg of body weight.
The frequency and duration of the treatment should be left to the discretion of the Veterinarian.
Withdrawal time:
- The treated animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption until 14 days after the end of the treatment.
- The milk produced during the treatment and 72 hours after the end of the treatment should not be given for human consumption.
Cautions:
- Shake well before use.
- Keep at a temperature below 30°C, protected from sunlight.
Presentations:
Syringe for 20 mL; bottle for 20, 100, 500, 1000 and 2000 mL.
